For most of the women I work with, “balance” is the wrong word. It sounds like a midpoint you can reach and stop. Real life is closer to choreography: you rebalance as the week, the children, the job, and your own body shift what they need from you.
We work on practices instead of a perfect schedule: catching the signals earlier, asking for what you need without apology, protecting the time that keeps you well. The week does not get free of trade-offs, but it stops feeling like an emergency.
